At MHED we gather together to become part of a supportive mental health community. Thank you to all who support us and who work with us to keep the mental health conversation going.
We are so proud of Mia Adler for her incredible initiative in support of MHED. As part of her Bat Mitzvah Project Give-Back, Mimi for Mental Health, Mia worked together with Sam Ginsburg of Sam’s Sweet Creations to not only sell amazing cookies, but to show us her heart as well.
Thank you Mia for the incredible donation of $4,226 toward our cause. You have shown us all what true empowerment is and we couldn’t be more impressed – and grateful.
Episode 3 of Project Give Back Connects focusses on anxiety. Leanne Matlow, MHED’s Founder, shares valuable coping strategies and emphasizes that “there is help, and there is hope”. The program includes Seth Zosky from the signing group CZN (the winner of BT’s Canada’s Got Talent) and two young ladies, Ella and Mia, who each share their inspiring stories. Project Give Back Connects is broadcast to elementary school students and their teachers, and this episode provides important insights and information regarding anxiety that are valuable to all of us.
